Two settings in your Customer Portal help customers navigate and understand where they are: the page title and the homepage link. Both are quick to set up and make a big difference to the experience.
Page title
The page title is the main heading displayed at the top of your portal homepage — it's the first thing customers read when they land on your portal.
Examples:
- "How can we help?"
- "Welcome to [Brand] Support"
- "Find answers fast"
To update it:
- Go to Customer Portal → Settings → Portal customization.
- Edit the Page title field.
- Click Save.
Header text
The header text is a subtitle shown just below the page title. Use it to give customers a brief description or set expectations.
Examples:
- "Search our knowledge base or browse by category below."
- "Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us."
To update it:
- Go to Customer Portal → Settings → Portal customization.
- Edit the Header text field.
- Click Save.
Homepage link
The homepage link is the URL your logo links back to — typically your store's main website. When a customer clicks your logo in the top-left corner of the portal, they'll be taken to this URL.
To set it:
- Go to Customer Portal → Settings → Basic information.
- Enter your store's URL in the Homepage link field (e.g.
https://www.yourbrand.com). - Click Save.
