The Customer Portal lets you offer a full self-service knowledge base for your store. Customers can browse articles, search for answers, and find help without contacting your support team — and it can be linked directly from your website and chat widget.
Getting started
To set up your Customer Portal:

Go to Tools → Customer Portal.

Click on Add portal.

Write down Help-Center name and select whether you want it hosted on Shopify or standalone domain

Click on Create portal.
From there you can:
- Write your first article — click New article to open the editor and start creating content.
- Manage your articles — click My articles to see all your existing articles, filter by status, and make edits.
- Organize with categories — go to Settings → Categories to create and arrange topic groups.
- Customize the look and feel — go to Settings → Portal customization to match your brand.
- Preview your portal — click Live preview to see exactly what your customers will see.
