Channels and integrations Commslayer supports

Commslayer connects to your Shopify store, to the channels your customers write on, and to a set of apps. This page lists what connects today, what doesn't, and what to use when your tool is not on the list.

Your store

Commslayer works with Shopify. Customer, order and product details come from the Shopify stores you connect under Settings → Shops.

Other store platforms and marketplaces can't be connected. That includes Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart and TikTok Shop. Orders and buyer messages from those don't come into Commslayer.

Channels

Add a channel under Settings → Inboxes → Add inbox.

  • Email: Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outlook and other email providers. Connect your email →
  • Chat widget: live chat on your Shopify storefront. How to add the chat widget →
  • Meta comments & DMs: Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, and comments on your Facebook and Instagram posts and ads. Connect Instagram & Messenger →
  • TikTok comments: comments on your TikTok videos. See "TikTok covers comments only" below.
  • WhatsApp: messages sent to your WhatsApp Business number. How to connect WhatsApp →
  • Voice: phone calls made and received in your browser. Voice is billed by usage, so it needs a current paid plan. It isn't available on the Free plan or legacy plans. How to set up voice →
  • Judge.me: each new product review opens a ticket you can reply to or hide. It needs the Judge.me Awesome plan. Judge.me integration guide →
  • Aircall: calls from your Aircall account are logged in Commslayer when they end, including missed calls, voicemails and recordings. You make and answer the calls in Aircall. Aircall text messages are not synced.

Channels that can't be connected

  • TikTok direct messages and YouTube comments.
  • Shopify Inbox: use the Commslayer chat widget for chat on your storefront.
  • Other phone systems and dialers: Aircall is the only one that connects. For calls inside Commslayer, add a Voice inbox.

TikTok covers comments only

  • Comments posted on your videos after you connect arrive in your TikTok inbox. Older comments are not imported.
  • You can reply to a comment and hide it.
  • A reply can be up to 150 characters.
  • Replies are posted from your TikTok account. People don't see which agent wrote the reply.
  • TikTok direct messages are not supported.
  • TikTok Shop is not supported. Its orders and buyer messages don't come into Commslayer.
  • TikTok comments are unlimited on every plan, like Instagram and Facebook comments.

Apps

Connect these under Settings → Integrations. You can connect one account per app.

  • Subscriptions: Recharge, Loop (Loop Subscriptions), Skio, Appstle (Appstle Subscriptions), Stay AI and Kaching Subscriptions. Your team sees and manages the customer's subscriptions in the conversation sidebar. The AI agent can make subscription changes for customers once you switch those actions on. What it can do differs per app, so check the guide for yours: Recharge, Loop, Skio, Appstle, Stay AI, Kaching.
  • Loyalty: Rivo, available on every account. Points, VIP tier and rewards show in the sidebar. Rivo integration →
  • Marketing: Klaviyo. The customer's Klaviyo profile, lists and segments show in the sidebar, and Commslayer sends an event to Klaviyo when a conversation is opened or resolved.

Shopify Flow is not on the Integrations page. With the Commslayer app installed on your store, Flow gets a Create a ticket action you can use in any workflow, for example for Shopify Forms submissions. Tickets are created in one of your email inboxes. Shopify Flow integration →

Apps that don't have an integration

If an app is not listed on this page, Commslayer has no built-in integration for it today. Merchants ask most often about these:

  • Subscriptions and memberships: Seal Subscriptions, Simplee Memberships, Appstle Memberships. The Appstle integration covers Appstle Subscriptions only.
  • Loyalty: Smile.io, Gameball, Bloy, Okendo.
  • Reviews: Okendo, Trustpilot and other review apps. Judge.me is the only review app that connects.
  • Marketing: Attentive, Omnisend, OneText.
  • Shipping, tracking and returns: ShipStation, Parcel Panel, Route, Redo.
  • Marketplace messaging: ChannelReply.

For Trustpilot there is a way to collect reviews without an integration. With CSAT review routing, customers who rate a conversation 4 or 5 stars are sent to a page you choose, such as your Trustpilot review page. Open an email or chat widget inbox under Settings → Inboxes → Manage, scroll to Customer satisfaction (CSAT) surveys and tick Enable review routing. Create a CSAT survey →

Connect a tool that is not on the list

The API works with the inboxes you already have. It can't create an inbox.
