Where to find your API key
Commslayer API keys are called Integration tokens and can be found in your account settings.
Finding your token

Click Settings in the left sidebar

Go to **Integration tokens **

Click on Create new token, enter the token name and select permissions. Once you are done, click on Create token

Copy your token info, you won't be able to see it again

If you want to revoke the token, on the active one, click on **Revoke **
What you can use the API key for
Your integration token lets you connect Commslayer to external tools and services — for example, when setting up a custom integration, webhook, or connecting via the MCP connector.
Keep your token safe

Treat your API key like a password — don't share it publicly or commit it to code repositories.

If you believe your token has been compromised, contact support to have it rotated.
Need a different type of access?
If you're looking to connect a specific app (Shopify, Recharge, Loop, etc.), those integrations are set up separately under Settings > Integrations rather than using the API token directly.
