Reordering your inbox tabs

You can customize the order of your inbox tabs in the Commslayer sidebar by dragging and dropping them into whatever order works best for your workflow.

How to reorder tabs

  1. Look at the left sidebar where your inboxes are listed.
  2. Hover over the inbox tab you want to move — a drag handle will appear.
  3. Click and drag the tab up or down to your preferred position.
  4. Release to drop it in place.

The new order is saved automatically and will persist the next time you log in.

Tips

  • Put your most-used inboxes at the top so they're always within reach.
  • If you manage multiple brands or channels (email, chat, WhatsApp), grouping related inboxes together can speed up triaging.
  • Each team member can set their own tab order — it's a personal preference, not a shared setting.

Don't see a drag handle?

Make sure you're hovering directly over the inbox name in the sidebar. If you have only one inbox, reordering won't apply.
